Someone asked me, "how do the main character's parents have names, but she doesn't?" Good question! I had not thought about that back when I was 11. :D I'm going to now say, as a way of covering my butt, that our main character's identity has not yet been established, even at this late date in her life, whereas the mom and dad have already signed away their lives to worry and hate. How's that for an explanation? :) I dunno. I'll stick to it.
