Stations of the Cross Art Experience

Service Description

This Lenten season, immerse yourself in an artistic meditation on Jesus's last day in the Stations of the Cross Art Experience at Portage Evangelical Church. Explore the 14 Stations of the Cross through your preferred artistic practice, whether it be painting, poetry, music, or writing. With a focus on meditation and creative inspiration, this event allows you to delve deeper into the themes of the stations of the cross. With each session covering two stations, you’ll have the opportunity to read scripture, reflect on the message, and create your own inspired artwork. Following the four sessions, feel free to submit your work to Kyla for a public Stations of the Cross event: a witness from your heart to the community about how Jesus's last day before death on the cross has impacted you. Invite friends and family to walk through the stations we have created, hear our music, view our paintings, witness our testimonies, and worship our friend and advocate, Jesus Christ.
